For The Record is aware that some customers have recently experienced issues due to the latest Microsoft updates to Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 and Windows 2016 editions.
We have been working closely with Microsoft on this issue and we’re pleased to inform customers that we have made significant progress in resolving this issue. Thank you for your patience and support in relation to this matter.
For users on Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and 2016 Editions
The Microsoft updates to Windows Server 2012 & 2016 editions (including Windows Server 2012 Standard, Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard and Windows Server 2016) have now been resolved.
For users on Microsoft Windows 10 versions 1607 and 1703
Windows 10 versions 1607 & 1703 that were causing a fault with FTR Reporter software have also now been resolved.
To fix or resolve the issue on these platforms, please install the relevant Windows updates from Microsoft listed below.

For users on Windows 10 versions 1507, 1511 and 1709
Unfortunately, Windows 10 versions 1507, 1511 and 1709 are still being affected.
It is important to note that version 1507 may never be fixed as it is no longer supported by Microsoft. Read here for more information.
If you are using this version, Microsoft recommends visiting the Software Download site to manually update your device free of charge.
